[Project One (dubstep)]

Not feeling it

It just doesn't have the elements of dubstep... or anything for that matter. Belongs in the miscellaneous section in my personal opinion. But enough about genre choice, let's get on to the review...

The little vocal clips are, well, annoying and repetitive. Your drums are a little boring and the kick doesn't exactly have enough vocal presence. Finally, your pads and synths don't exactly match each other.

Overall, you fell pretty short on this. That doesn't mean in any way that you can't improve so keep going on. Good luck in the future.

Seriously, how can you take a theme that is creepy and make it chill and interesting? Thank you for not making it hit so hard by the way. You kept the calming aspect of the original song by not having too many whomps. *two thumbs up*

It's all about the chord progressions :P If you take the creepy mixture of the notes that were in the original and twist them to be more likable, it's sure to be better. The creepy aspect is SOMEWHAT there in the ending, where I used the original chord progession, but it's still very easy to listen to compared to the original.

SOOO good

I've never really experienced "drone ambient" before. I'm a huge fan of ambient but this is new to me. I felt so... relaxed and yet I found myself getting really involved into the song. Thank you for the awesome trip :)

I feel like Nobuo Uematsu wrote this for a Final Fantasy game. I'm not saying you ripped it off of him or anything but it sounds exactly like his style. Very good :)

It was good

But the melody was overshadowed by the background. Half the time I couldn't hear anything but the echo. Just bring up the melody and shorten the reverb on the background and it would be great.

Not a chance sorry this is the way i meant it to sound the melody is meant to be NOT PRESENT ITS THE END OF THE WORLD AFTER ALL (just kidding) your suppose to RAISE YOUR VOLUME ON THESE i DONT RESPECT THE STUPID ASS LOUDNESS WAR's that go on in the music industry so there for i dont overmaster my songs i leave dynamics alone most of the time. and this i set inside a catherdral so the the echo is meant to be this way. Its meant to be this way is all i say ^_^. Also i can hear the melody just fine you must have bad hearing lawl... and the echo isnt an echo at all really its called MASSIVE TIMPANI's covering the background throughout left>center>center2>right>Back

This song is fucking amazing. If you haven't heard Hollow Man by cornandbeans already I think you may appreciate the style of the song as well. I gotta say this is amazing and I'm favoriting now!
